Born and raised in Virginia, Charlene Hurst had dreams of being a doctor or a lawyer just to be accepted by the members in her family. Her family pushed her towards careers that guaranteed her money but thats not what Charlly had in mind. At the age of 8 she realized she was a bit thinner and taller than most girls her age. By the time she got to middle school she felt that her weight and size was an issue. Constantly teased because she didn't fit in, Charlly began to have a streak of low self-esteem. She would cry most nights because she would be teased outside of school. She found acceptance in most males so she began to think and act like them; always wanting to play football and joining in on any sport her older brother was taking part in. As time went on, she went to high school where her mother refused to let her dress like anything. She found a style that created popularity among her and gained a bit of self esteem. Her sophomore year she decided to enter in an audition for Barbizon School of Modeling and was accepted in the classes. Her shy ways caught the eye of her Barbizon coach who saw much more potential in her than she saw in herself. Charlly's interest was being that model in magazines everyone wanted to be but as Barbizon went on, she gained a love for runway. Seeing that she did pretty well in both, she decided to take that dream and run. At the age of 18, she became legal enough to make her own decisions and her options were much more open. Now she is aiming to make this dream a reality by letting not even time nor money hold her back. Dreams of being that super star on the runway of the most anticipated shows are what drives her to continue pushing on. Contact: www.Myspace.com/modelcharlly Email kaybee_43@yahoo.com
